vBar 2.2 VS Magic Button 2.0 build 51023

Any comments? Apparently vBar 2.2 solved all the problems when using it with WM5.

VBAR all the way here on my x51v (and was on my x50v till I sold it)

I tried using other free options like magicbutton or whatever, but Vbar was the only tiny program that seemed to work best and not slow down my PDA. Possibly the slow downs on the other options have been fixed, if so, just choose the one that looks best for you!

I'm using vBar now. MagicButton locked up my x50v. Wisbar 2 was too slow and a memory hog.

Anyone use this program?

Well you don't get skinning from the former two so they are not really comparable.

vBar is amazing! Tiny and really solid. If you're only looking for that functionality, I prefer it over all the rest.

The only thing I wish vBar had was a "minimize all" or "home" button in the menu, and the option to show running programs on the top bar of the PPC. But, when I really want that, I just open up Wisbar Advance 2 for a change of pace.

I keep seeing people say WA2 is a 'memory hog' and that it "slows down my device" and it's got me wondering.. What skins are you guys using? The more detailed the skins the more memory it uses. On my x50v it's using about 2MB of program memory.. is 2MB really THAT much? I should mention that I'm using aslocum's Vista Glass VGA theme.

I went to main button settings on the Axim and set one of the buttons to the TODAY screen, so I always can "minimize all" in doing that. Great customization for an Axim.

I use vBar, switched to it about a week and a half ago. Magic Button just felt too clunky on my x50v/WM2003SE... Plus was sick of it hanging every time I went to WiFi settings..

my PDA feels faster and more stable now I am using vBar.. using that and the Batti battery monitor and couldn't be happier!
