PocketBreeze and the Special Events Tab

Hi,

How is it possible to display birthdays that are stored in the calendar on this tab. It used to work on my X5 with PB version 4.2. But for one reason or the other I can't get it to work on PB 5.0 on my X51v. I don't want to store birthdays in the contacts database.

hurry, before my trial expires ... I need to make up my mind if I want to buy it :-)

I don't use that tab but I would look on the SBSH PocketBreeze forums if you don't get an answer here.

What I did was create a category called "Special Events" and then add the birthdays/anniversaries/etc. to that category.
Then in the SE tab settings, use one of the 4 filters to show those Special Events.
Pick the number of days out you want to see them.
Tap the green check on the bottom.
You may need to soft-reset for it to show.
Let us know.

That will work.

I do store birthdays in the contact db and use that to bring them into the Special Events tab of PB.

However, for some reason, every now and again, I find some birthdays have been duplicated as alarmed appointments in that db. So, I set that on as an additional criteria in the Special Events tab (for Appointments in addition to Contacts). Those that show up as duplicates are the ones I need to clean up.
