Delete start up items in MemMaid

Hi,
How do I determine which items being launched in start-up could be deleted by using MemMaid?

Thanks.

Tap on the third tab from the left and it will list all start up programs.

To delte any, tap on them to highlight them and then tap on Delete.

That is how to do it, but he asked how does he know it's ok

Some are obvious by the name. For example, I run SKSchema, well there is something like that in the StartUp folder. Guess what will happen if I delete it? SKSchema will not do all I want it to.

Normally you can do some searching (using Google or this board) for each item. Somewhere out there each is probably listed with its "owner" and if it is safe to remove.

Perhaps you could list what you see?

Before you start, create a backup folder and move the items. That way if you remove something you need, yuo can put it back.

Poutlook can be deleted.
BTTray would probably remove your little bt icon if you removed it. Same with wirelessicon.lnk. I removed them because I used a hard button.
odClientCeAutoLaunchSmart.exe is part of something called Odyssey?
RKbdInit.lnk seems to be a keyboard app? Sounds like you may need to keep that.

I removed the BT from startup because it would sometimes launch itself when I started wifi.. the little blue light made me crazy.

Thanks!
One more question, how can I put the item back to the start up other than the back up file?

You mean if you didn't make backup? Depends what it is. If it is some third party app, you could always try to reinstall it.

as harleyxlc said in the post above ...

move the item out to another location or copy the item .. when needed ... move it back ... this does not involves a backup file ( as in device backup )

backing up INDIVIDUAL item/file/shortcut is not the same as the backup file you're thinking about

Thank you Harleyxlc & Kazkin.
As Kazkin has memtioned in his reply. I had messed up the Full Backup vs individual file backup for future reinstallation.
