different power management based on active app?

Hi all,

I want to be able to deviate from default power management when a certain program is active. In other words, I want to dim screen and shut off device after a certain period (the usual case), UNLESS my GPS software is active.

Is there anything out there that would do this? I'm using the x51v.

Not to be annoying, but you could just change the settings, it really doesn't take that long.

The bigger issue is REMEMBERING to change settings every time I start/stop GPS navigation.

Automation is good, it lets you worry about bigger things.
