I downloaded the R59758.EXE from dell. I'm going through the instructions, i backed up my axim, now on to installing the new rom. It says insert the dell update cd, which i don't have but i guess i downloaded the rom update already? the R59758.EXE? Or is their another file i didn't download?

No, that is the .EXE you need. Mine said the same thing when I upgraded my ROM

This download is 27MB. A broadband or fast internet connection is advised. On the Axim X5, tap System Information and tap ROM Version. The previous version of the ROM was A00 or A02. The version for this update is A03.

How do i install it? Everytime i double click the .exe it just unzips it, nothing about installing it onto the axim. I feel like a total newb but i can't figure it out. Should i put the .exe on the axim and run it on their?

It extracts it to C:\Dell\Drivers\R59756 on your computer. Go there and just double-click on Setup.exe.

I can't find a setup.exe in the extracted folder, it just has all the images and html for the tutorial.

Make sure you downloaded the update file, and not the instruction file.
