I use Magic Button and have had a good experience with it. The only issue it's ever had is it won't exit out of the "Settings" screen inside the wireless configuration. It's a small issue, but other than that has been great.

I 've installed my v.bar but It freezes my screen that I have to do a soft reset to get it back in working order, any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

MB for me. Thanks to someone else on this forum, I assigned a button to "X" out and that works well when in wireless settings.

If you do a search on this two programs on Aximsite, you will find hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of posts about it. Bottom line, I prefer Inclose Mobile but then had some issues with photo viewer so am using Dinarsoft's HandySwitcher now which is perfect.

I prefer vBar because Magic Button had a few issues I didn't appreciate. I would still take TMan over either, though.

I use Magic Button and rarely have any problems with it. I've never used vBar so I can't speak to that, but anything's better than switcher bar!

This is interesting. I have used MB for a long time but decided to give VBAR a shot. Darned if my machine doesn't run faster - and I mean a LOT faster. The entire GUI just "pops" where before it ran OK but just dragged a little. I'm running WM2003SE. If it remains stable this one is a keeper (VBAR that is).

I've tired a bunch of different task managers to close programs, etc:

WisBar
Magic Button
PocketNav
HandySwitcher
Switcher Bar
icBar

You name it, I've tried it. I've settled on Magic Button because it's the smallest, non-resource hogging program that actually lets the "X" button CLOSE programs. No need to bring up any menus like with Vbar or Swticher Bar. Magic Button on my iPaq Pocket PC Phone doesn't close the native phone aps so I use PocketNav to do that. I just exist out of MB then enable PocketNav and close out the phone apps. (No need to do that with MB on my Axim X30H though since it doens't have a phone app.)

Best of all Magic Button is 100% FREE (as is PocketNav). HandySwitcher is the SAME exact thing, the same exact look yet DinarSoft saw fit to charge you $$ for it. No thanks. I'll stick with MB. So far, so good.

Menus? You don't need a menu to use VBAR, you just tap the "X" button in the corner to close the app. A menu is available if you want to see all that is open and close what you want or activate them.

Yeah CodeBubba, sounds like my experience back on the x50v as well

Tried Magic Button, had issues with WLAN when it was running, with VBar no problems at all. Great Program.

I don't like junky looking task managers. Those tacky vBar power metersand "unpolished" look bug me, personally. LOL!

Inclose mobile was one I was looking at. I have WM5 and I didn't like how MB changed my close icon to look like 2003se (the white circle with blue X)

I did like how it displayed the running apps next to the start menu.

Right now I just have a task switcher assigned to my "Record" button which looks like pressing "ALT + Tab" on the PC.

It works, and ALL i need is a closing button, nothing else.
