Program that shows hidden SSIDs

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone knew of an application that I could install into my x51v that shows when there is a wifi access point nearby that is not transmitting it's SSID. My laptop shows this info, but I cannot find anything that alows my PDA to do the same.

I am using the built in wifi utility along with wififofum, but neither of these show access points with hidden SSIDs.

This requires a replacement driver for your WiFi adapter (just like those WiFi sniffers). On desktop/laptop computers it is usually much easier to get software compatible with your hardware. I haven't had much luck with PDAs, however.

what progs on pc's can show hidden SSIDs? i have the correct drivers+hardware for sniffing.
