Password just a folder

I would like a program that would just let me put a password on a folder. I don't put passwords on anything else I would just like to hide a few docs and pics and some other stuff.

You can just encrypt them. Here's a link to some freeware utilities:

Problem with encrypting them is that you need to decrypt each time u wanna see the folders content. Pass protecting is so much easier but probably not as safe.

Wish I could suggest somthing. I dont know about any programs that can pass protect folders/files on PPC's. Im looking for one myself.

Edit: Personally, I think the DES algorithm is rather old and weak. I'd go for the TwoFish algorithm from Sentry2020.

that sentry program looks good, but at $50 it's slightly more than I wanted to spend.. guess it's back to encrypting each file that I want private..
