exe to cab
does anyone know of a utility to extract a ppc cab file from a desktop exe install program? I hate installing through activesync but some companies only release exe files.
Thanks! | |||||||||

You can create your own CAB files by running the .exe file itself and then cancelling program installation when ActiveSync kicks in. The CABs can be found in Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync. Look for the folder of the program.

You can often extract files by renaming the EXE to ZIP and then opening with WinZip or somesuch.
