Application to prevent dimming for certain applications???
I would like to find an application that will allow me to customize the automatic dimming feature on my X51 for specific programs.
For instance, I would like the backlight to dim after 30 seconds when I use Windows Media Player but not to dim at all when using an ebook reader. Any such application that anyone wants to share with me??? Thanks

I dunno. Micrsoft Streets and Trips when I used it for a week when I got my GPS BT unit, I noticed that the screen wouldn't dim while using the program.
I haven't found one other program that does that. What I found best was to just go and disable the screen dim function altogether. It might sound like a dramatic solution, but I turn on the screen when I pull it out of the case, use it, and ALWAYS turn off the screen when I'm not using it... even if only to put it down for a minute. As long as you don't turn it off or soft-reset it or something, it'll come right back up fast. No need to have it automatically dim. I turned the screen-poweroff option too. Its either on, in my hands, while i'm using it... or off in my pocket.
