Best security software for the x51v

Hello aximsite members,

Waiting on my x51v arrival... What software are you all using to encrypt your credit card numbers, bank info, passwords to consumer sites, etc? I would just like to get a quick survey to see if there is any outstanding security software out there. What are most using? Pros/cons?

I am currently a Palm user, switching over to the PPC platform. My sensitive data is currently encrypted in 13 specifically organized folders (ie banking, consumer passwords, etc). It might be easier if I could find software for PPC that has the option to encrypt folders which would probably make it easier with my data transfer. Maybe I could just cut and paste my Palm data into 13 separate documents in PPC, put all into a "Security Folder" and then encrypt that folder only. Any advice on such encryption software for PPC? Pros/cons?

Thanks to all in advance.

I use FlexWallet - http://www.pocketinformant.com/produ...ab_id=pocketpc

The wallet file containing all my personal or sensitive info is encrypted by the program. Aside from that I dont feel a need for file security. Although I also have Resco Explorer and its capable of encrypting files, I never use it.

I use: http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/ew/ewallet.htm

Works great and synchronises with PC. Got all of my info, credit cards, bank accounts, website links and passwords, insurance details, car details, software activation codes etc etc... everything you could think off. Great piece of software.

Thanks all. Any other opinions on folder encryption options?

I've seen Pocket SafeHold:

Any experience out there with this program or other similar programs? Appreciate the help.

I ended up with two that are each excellent: SplashID and eWallet. I prefer the interfaces of SplashID. Resco File Explorer can encrypt folders.

Resco explorer has a folder encryption option but I've never tried it and don't know haw secure it is; http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/indepth.asp Says strong 128 bit.

even so Resco is a must have in my opinion.

Thanks all. Two for eWallet. Three for Resco. I think I'm leaning towards Resco for the more flexible folder encryption. Any other votes, opinions?

Hieye, I'll just second everyone. I use Ilium's e-wallet and Resco Explorer. Both are excellent programs.

Should have added in my response re Resco that I don't use the encryption, but use just about every other function on it. Fantastic utility.
