My tope choice would be Pocket Plus by SPB. It closes apps when you close them, slightly improves your Internet Explorer, add a battery bar to the tope of the screen, adds a quick launch today plus-in, safe mode boot up, etc... Number two would probably be SBSH Pocket Breeze.

Some of my favourites are HandyMenu, Handy Launcher and Handy Switcher by Dinarsoft; I also couldn't live without MemMaid to keep my Ax clean. The one must have is a good backup programme - this will be your best friend if things go wrong; my choice is Sprite Backup.

i also recently switched to wisbar lite as my task manager (or whatever you call it). wisbar advance 2 slows my x50v too much...oh well

spb pocketplus + spb weather + spb diary = a x50v that rocks

 

My favorite is Device Status. Lots of functions and absolutely free. Easy to use and really helpful as you can turn on and off many of the functions, if you dont want to see them. Also have a look at todaywarrior.
