There's gotta be a piece of software out there that will do what I need to have done. Basically, I want to enter the text I'm searching for (for example, "mike") and then have a search done through my data (calendar, contacts, tasks, notes, e-mail??, other??) and return items that are then clickable so that I can go directly to the item in its native application. So, for "mike", lets say I get 2 hits in the calendar, 2 hits in tasks, and 4 hits in contacts. I could click any of the 4 hits in contacts and would be taken to that contact in the Contacts List.
Anyone know of such a thing? Ken | |||

Actually, it's called "Search" - it's in the Start menu and has a magnifying glass icon. When it opens, you can select where it looks. It's not quite as good as Palm's global find, but it's OK enough.
