SK Tools registry clean

When I use SKTools to clean the registry for invalid registry/invalid registry values etc...I get tons of invalid registry values that I can delete. Is it safe to delete all of them? How do I know which one to keep and which one to delete?

If you highlight each entry, there is a description of the registry value/entry. If it is one that you know you don't have anymore, then it would be relatively safe to delete. However, before going through the process, I would backup the registry just in case you need to restore something that should not have been removed.

Be careful and back up first. Also be sure that your backup works!!! There is a real mixed experience with the backups.

SKtools often shows registry entries for infrequently used programs on storage cards. Do not delete an entry unless you know for sure you don't need it and back up the registry before you do anything. I speak from experience on this one.

Memmaid is much less aggressive, and probably leaves some it shouldn't it has never deleted something that I needed.

Consequently I use both tools.

SK Tools pre-checks the entries that can be deleted safely.

If it's not checked by SKTools when it presents you with a list, leave it alone - unless you're sure you can erase it.
