psShutXP

Anyone know a little about psShutXP? I'm wondering if it might help solve my problem of going to sleep with a full charge on my 50v and waking up with the battery almost dead. Thanks!

Are you swapping batteries between the two devices? It could be a problem with your battery. Or, do you have something running in the background or on a schedule like SPB Backup or Sk Tools?

the only place I could see pshut helping is if your pda was turning on at sometime during the night, and you used pshut to turn it off at a specific time...

Now if you could find what was waking it up, that would make you a happy bunny

I do run a SPB Backup but that usually goes for only about 5 minutes. with the 50v, I think something else is waking the device and it doesn't turn off until the low battery warning. With the 51v, any reminder (even just normal Calendar stuff) turns it on and it won't turn itself off. I was thinking of using this to set a turn off time after the backup (say, 10 minutes after) to see if that keeps it from turning on in the night. Funny thing is that it doesn't happen every night. It might do it for a week straight and then not for a few days and then it does it again for a few more days. I know I should eventually do a hard reset but I won't have time to reload stuff for a few months and am looking for a quick fix. Thanks!

Do you have cats?

The little buggas love pressing buttons when you aren't looking.
