Problems with NoteM and ppc2003

I just got my Axiom x5 and downloaded NoteM for recording. However, it hangs the axiom. If I have it become the default program for mp3 files, it hard hangs. If I don't then it hangs when stopping a recording. I have to soft reset to clear the program from memory. Anyone know how to contact the author for a fix? Or does anyone know of a fix?
