Help. I bought the 400mz Axim in May 03 (my first) and have had no success with sync it to Notes 5.08 at work. At home with Outlook 2000 - no problem. Our IS group tried multiple times, soft & hard boot. Any recommendations?

You should check out Cadenza mNotes. This is the only synching tool that REALLY works well with Notes. The other tools out there are synch programs which support Notes. mNotes is designed for Notes and uses the Notes APIs to interact with Notes. I tried Intellisynch and EasySync Pro and neither one compares. The tech support for mNotes is by email as they are in the UK, but they are outstanding. They get back the same day and have solved all problems for me. I even run a complex synch environment where I log into multiple client environments and mNotes can still let me sync regardless of which one I log into as I can run it as a service.

Cadenza mNotes is really outstanding. But I'm having some problems with file attachments. When I try to use the Save as tap and hold function over the file, it actually does not open the Save as window. It just makes a beep, with no further action. Has anyone had a similar problem? I'm already contacting Cadenza support.

I am needing to change to Lotus notes at work. My company is changing from outlook to Notes 6.0. I use XP at hime. Is this mnotes the solution and will I be able to still use outlook at home in XP?

Open mNotes on the Axim, tap and hold on "Mail", tap "Mail Settings", tap and hold "InBox" and choose "Options". See if "Get Atttachments" is checked, and if not see if "If smaller than.." is smaller than the attachment that you are having a problem with.

As a side note, devices running Windows Mobile 2003 will not snyc the email portion properly with Easysnyc. I'm currently using mNotes. It's not perfect but it seems to work much better than Easysync ever has.
