PC World has an article about the new pocket-sized USB flash memory drives, like the SanDisk Cruzer which uses a 256meg SD card. I carry a ZIP disk from home to work all the time, so usng the SD card in my Axim looks good to me.
ActiveSync lets you turn off file conversion and allows saving multiple files to the SD card via file explorer. Still, it is not exactly a simple task, and it is mostly manual. Is there any way to treat the SD card as a drive so it can be addressed with xcopy in a batch file? Or maybe a better, automated way? Is there any way to turn file conversion ON for usual Axim files and OFF for "disk drive" files? Again for automated file transfers. Thanks. FAF | |||||
