Just a quick question ... does anyone know why whenever I Sync my axim (MM2003) with my computer, ActiveSync (3.7) tries to dial up to the internet?
I've checked that I don't have the options enabled to Sync anything that is internet based (Such as Avantgo or Mobile Favourites), but it still persists on dialing up on each sync! Any ideas? I'm stumped ... ![]()

set the active sync settings to not allow access your lan network and not alow remote access, i beleive that should do it
do you have any kind of weather progs on your today screen?... even if they are turned off they may still sync in the background, if all else fails you can also check your proccesses to see if you have any suspicious progs running in the background

If I leave my first network connection set to something other than "work settings", I get the dial-up login prompt. Try switching back to work settings while active sync'ing.
