Sleep Uninstalling All of Spb Backup

Waiting on Spb tech support but thought I would share & possibly
get quicker assistance. Why when I think I have uninstalled Spb Backup, do a soft reset and reinstall this program, why registration is already done without me putting in reg key? One thought is evidently there is Still some part of Spb Backup not uninstalled. What am I missing - want to make sure ALL is uninstalled, reinstall and Then manually key in reg code.

Problem on Ipaq 211,WM 6; have
done numerous soft resets; not ready for hard reset;need to be able to restore. Have the latest Spb Backup version.

Any thoughts?

The code is probably in the registry file which doesn't normally get changed when a program is uninstalled. You'd need a registry edit/cleanup program to find out for sure. I know when I've removed programs, then ran my Registry Cleanup routing in Pocket Mechanic, I find pieces from the old program still in the registry.

Also, sometimes they will drop something in the windows folder to show whether or not the program is registered. That way if you uninstall and reinstall the 30 day trial period won't start over again. The only way to clear that unless you know the name of the file is a hard reset, but thats way more trouble than its worth unless you have everything set up so it will install via UC and set all the settings too.

You both are so right. Used MemMaid and found the culprit file, deleted it, did a soft reset AND then was able to reinstall; able to put in reg code. Thanks to you both.
