Hot pick, "battery bar" (InsertCredit)

Freeware and it looks like this:

"The BatteryBar is a Today screen extension that displays the battery status, amount of free memory and storage. An options dialog provides control over the bar's visual appearance.

Features:

Battery life time displayed as a percentage. Clicking this displays your Power settings.
Displays amount of free memory. Click to toggle between percentage and MB.
Displays amount of free storage. Click to toggle between percentage and MB.
You can access the options dialog through the Today applet. Select Start Menu -> Settings -> Today -> Items -> InsertCredit Battery Bar and then options."

Enjoy,
Henk

Why slam a guy just because he announces a new utility out there? I happen to like the software but, even if I didn't I appreciated the "heads up".

Thanks Hejo

Sorry if I offend; that was not my intention. What I mean by my criticism is that there is nothing new here; there are literally dozens of programs just like this one that tell you your memory, battery and more.

If your intention is to find a battery meter then just do a search for one here on aximsite. Posting repetitive information is analagous to posting questions that have already been asked a thousand times.

This same guy posted about TodayPlus, a truly new and unique piece of software (for freeware), and should be applauded. However, if a new tetris comes out I don't expect to see a post on it in the games section as there are dozens of those as well. Unless a product brings something new to the table it shouldn't be brought up here. Just my opinion...

Try to think about others. You may not need it, buy maybe others do. And thereby you don't *have* to use it nor read my mail, so whats the fuss?

Henk.
