I got a link to a page to re-request a new registration code, but when I got the new one, it was the same as the old one.
I noticed with the new version the HELP off the File pull-up at the bottom is gone. I looked at the on-line PDF user manual, and it didn't have any information about card reformatting or printing using the newly built in HP utilities.

Let's you format CF/SD, cool!
Although I can't tell what FAT version (16 or 32) the new Resco Explorer is using to format the CF/SD cards, the new utility is nice to have. I was thinking of buying CnetX's Flash Format utility, but Reso's will do nicely. The documentation doesn't say what FAT version the format is in, and the utility itself doesn't specify either. Anyone know?

This new version seems to do mapping of network drives correctly on WM2003.
I can finally see the shares that some of my PC's have over my wireless network. Nice... However, I do have a problem with one PC, when I was asked for the username and password for access to it, I put in what I thought was correct, only to find that it was not. In my haste I clicked on the "Save Password" box, and confirmed it, and nw I cannot seem to change the password that Explorer uses for this particular PC. Needless to say I cannot access the share. I have contacted resco support, and they tell me that the password is stored somewhere in the networking section of the registry, but I can't find any mention of my PC in there, other than the info for the acivesync partnership, which works fine. Can anybody shed on light on where to go looking, or if not in the registry, is there any particular file I should be looking at? Thanks, And well done to Resco for improving this really good software. Eoin
