SD Card third party extraction program

Help! Does anyone know of an extraction program for my SD card that I can use to get my backup info off the card WITHOUT going through activesync? My axim won't read the card. I've got mileage stored on the card that I need... Thanks!

Your best bet would be another PDA or a card reader. Another PDA will probably not make much difference but a card reader would at least let you try to run scandisk.

Don't get your hopes too high though.

I have a reader but it will only transfer the file to my PC but I can't open it. Any ideas of a program to open the backup file?

What format is the file in. Did you use a notepad like program or pocket excel or pocket word?

If you can get it off the card, copy it back to another card (if you have one) or back into the Axim's main memory, then back to the PC via AS.
