Have you tried Space Reclaimer from Valksoft?

Space Reclaimer is very good.

But what do you really mean by removing pieces of a file? If a file is fragmented and you remove the file you also remove the fragments.

Purchased Aol for ppc, then found it didnot do what I wanted, did add/remove, cannot get rid of icon. Had program called remover,it got corrupted, I think, and removerd it but if I do a soft reset the screen always says cannot find file "remover and its components, Downdoaded a trial Resco file explorer, it found a removerer file but a delete did not. remove the screen note. It did not find aol at all. the icin for that drives me crazy always reminding me how dumb it was to think that Aol actualy supported the service

Check your registry and see if you have the following key:

\HKLM\Software\SK\Remover

If you do you can delete \HKLM\Software\SK.

Also maker sure that you don't have remover in \Windows\Startup.
