New version of Wisbar Adv.

Just to let you know.

Whats'new?

Version 1.2.2.1(January 13, 2004)
Features
Added the ability to customize the appearance of the SIP button. In the theme file, you would add the value, "SIPButton=" (without the quotes and replacing with the appropriate path).
Added a cascading Start Menu.
Added an option for Select All (Ctrl+A).
Added a resource file which can be used to set the language of WisBar Advance without a specialized build for that language.
The Settings panel and the Programs window are now closed correctly instead of just being minimized.

Enhancements
Improved support for the SIP button when the taskbar is placed on the bottom of the screen.
Widened the battery bubble to accomodate larger card names and different languages.
WisBar Advance now hides when the password screen is active in order to prevent circumvention of the security features.

Bugs Fixed
Fixed a bug where the "Use Custom Colors" on the battery button did not remember what the user chose.
Theme files will now allow font names that contain spaces.
Fixed a bug where the "BGMode=2002" setting in the theme files did not work.
Fixed a bug where the connection icon, once turned on, would always revert to being turned on when the user reenters the settings program.

Enjoy.
Peace,
Henk.

I'm having two issues:

1. At first my Pocket PC was freezing everytime I tried to acces WA settings. I think I traced this to the fact that the skin and images I was using are located in my built-in storage. I moved the skin to main memory where WA is located and it seems not to freeze now. However, I was able to use skins from built-in storage before with v1.0.0.15.

2. Everytime I try and change the background item from the dialog box wibarsettings.exe crashes and gives me a meesage about performing an illegal opeation. My Pocket PC then freezes and I have to soft reset. I can type in the path name of the image I want to use, but as soon as a tap on the "..." to navigate to the image, it crashes. This only seems to happen with the background image.

Anyone else notice this? I've seen one other user report number 2 on the WA forums..

I'm using a Dell Axim Advance X5, PPC 2002.
