Mad Backup dilemma

I'm getting bizarre messages about my backup battery, so I should probably do a backup. What's out there as a solution? TIA.

You can do a backup thru Active Sync or buy a program like Sprite Backup or Backup Plus.

Also, I've used the backup utility that Dell includes in the Axim successfully (even though other people have had problems).

If you've had the X5 for a while, get a new backup - they are a couple of dollars at any electronic/department store. CR2032

Another possibility, what OS Version are you running? Anything below A04 on an X5 and you often get buggy backup battery monitoring..which was fixed in version A04 and up.

I probably need to update my OS anyway. Got it in Jan '03 and haven't really touched it to tweak until now.
