I need some good handwriting recognition software. I am currently using Calligrapher 7 and it just does'nt work to well. I've trained it about as much as I can.
Any other good programs out there?

I tried Decuma as you suggested and it just does'nt work too well. I need a program that I can train to my poor handwriting. You can kinda do that will Calligrapher by selecting how you write letters from the lists they have. But I need one where I can actually write down how I write the letters, so it can learn that way.

I think they can only do so much. Calligrapher and Decuma are about the best out there, as far as I know. You can do a search on Handango and look at some of the others, but I don't thinl there are any better ones out there.
Have you tried printing instead of cursive script? Or perhaps a hardware keyboard?

I do print. I can't remember how to write in cursive. Neither program is very good at recognizing my handwriting. Some letters of mine it has no problems with, but others it just can't get, no matter how slowly or neat I write them.

Decuma will allow you to overwrite the character in the settings, i did this for characters like D that it couldn't tell if I was writing an O or a D. This worked well. I also needed to do this with G as it always wanted to write 6. After personalizing it, it gets it everytime! You simply write in your version and it uses that. You can always revert to the default version of the alphabet later

You may want to look at Fitaly.
I know it's not handwriting recognition, but it's the fastest input method I've found. I tried some of the other programs but found them lacking. Fitaly has a bit of a learning curve, but you will see your input speed increase over time.
