Worried Help! DotPocket is Screwy

:: I posted this on the X3 Forums. I'm not sure if it belongs here or there but I thought to give this board a try ::

I need a Landscape program and have Dotpocket installed.

When I boot up landscape mode-- the normal predefined 320 X 240, 1/3 of the screen isn't covered by my Today Screen and the Start Menu is all white with no names, just icons.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Also, I'd like to post screenshots of this issue. Can someone tell me how to post them?

Thanks in advance.

Worried LandThemes!

Fallen -

I just installed .Pocket as well. The reason for this is because the theme that you (we) have is not designed for landscape mode. It does not stretch the full length of the screen. I am going to work on creating some landscape themes, and I'll post em' if I can come up with anything cool I am going to work on some this evening.

Other than this, its much better that Nyditot, not to mention the remote control applet that is thrown in.
Best Regards,

Wooch

Do a search for extended themes on this site. This will give you a good start on finding some themes that will work both in landscape and portrait.

Does the new Theme utility from SPB allow one to create landscape themes?

So an "extended theme" would fix it?

Does anyone have any extended themes that I can download? Or know where I can download them ready-made? (I'm not good with theme production.)

Thanks in advance.

Try these, and click on extended themes. This will cover up the weird area on the right side of the screen.

PocketPCThemes.com and PocketThemes.com.

And try the themes that reese did. There is a very cool saturn theme there.

Thank you.

It's a hit or miss with some of those themes. Some work to cover the white spot and some don't.

My Start Menu is still all white... are there any Extended themes that also color the Start Menu in Landscape mode?

Thanks again.

SPB Extended Theme Generator

I wasn't referring to SPB Pocket Plus, I was referring to the SPB Extended Theme Generator . It's a free utility, actually an add on to MS Pocket PC 2002 Theme Generator. At the very end of the theme creation process, the SPB util kicks in and gives you the option to create extended themes.
Best Regards,

Wooch

Hi Wooch06,

Thanks for the advice. I don't know how to "generate themes". So the program is lost on me. LOL!

But do you know of any theme, already made and available for download, that gets rid of the stupid white Start Menu?

Thanks.

Hi Fallen!!

THAT is one thing that is getting to me, and I am not sure how in the heck to get rid of that I don't think it matters what theme you use, unless the ticket is to generate a special theme. I didn't have much luck making any landscape themes last night, so I am going to search for some. I will let you know if I come up with any that remove that annoying white start menu.
Best Regards,

Wooch

So in order to switch to landscape I have to go through the trouble of changing snoopsoft skins and then wisbar skins? That is a lot of work considering I only go to landscape periodically. I wish there was a way to have the themes switch automatically.
