Memmaid vs. Pocket Mechanic vs. sktools

I've researched the best I can on these progs and I'm trying to see how much they all overlap...if I must, I'll d/l trials of all of them but I'd rather not install/uninstall numerous things so I thought I'd ask here first...I want to be able to clean the system, have SD card utilities, and optimize settings for my x30 while installing the fewest number of progs...any suggestions?

The ultimate way to decide is install all of them and see for yourself. They have different user interface not just functionality. Where sktools lacks an understandable user interface, MemMaid tops up them in its slick user interface.

In terms of things that they do,... it really depends on what u r looking for....

I'm a memmaid user, and tried the other two.

MemMaid is the best cleaner among the three and it provides many features in other stuff like tweaking, running process, notification queue, and startup programs.

above all, Dinarsoft provides very good customer service. (They have their support forum here on Aximsite).

That's my opinion anyway.

I use all three. They all have certain things that they do best. If you want utilities for your SD card, look @ Pocket Mechanic and SKTools. If you want an easy to use interface, check out MemMaid. It would be hard for me to tell you which one to get, so downloading them all would be a good idea.
Best Regards,

I use both Pocket Mechanic and Memaid. For cleaning, usually one will catch things the other misses.

For defragging and formating cards, Pocket Mecchanic is the best all around.

I know that having both might be redundant, but that is what works best for me.

We'll be very happy to add more features to MemMaid's cleaner if you can just tell us what does MemMaid miss ?
Thanks

Yes, I have noticed that Pocket Mechanic will catch registry that MemMaid fails to catch too.

It's very hard to give an example since all PDAs have different software installed on them.

Here's what I usually do, install 3-4 demos/trials. Experiment with them. Run some IE pages. Then, I use 'remove programs' to uninstall them. Then I run (memmaid) to remove loose registry setting, and IE cache. Then I run Pocket Mechanic 'registry cleaner' and it usually picks up some stuff that Memmaid did not unregister.

Agreed, whenever I install an app, PM always catches 2 registry entries that can be deleted. MemMaid doesn't seem to catch them. PM's cleaning util does a great job as well. I believe SK's strongpoint is the uninstaller, and it catches more "dead" reg entries than both PM and MM. Again, they all have their strengths and weaknesses.

DinsrSoft: I was thinking about posting this in your forum. I will do so the next time these keys come up on the screen.

I do not favor one above the other, and the nice thing is the you can use all three harmoniously. MM has a great space allocation feature, and their process management module is by far the best. finally, the registry hack features that are incorporated are a Godsend! And, MMhas by far the best UI out of the three, it is a pleasure to use!.
Best Regards,

Wooch
