Exclamation Recovering from a Sprite Restore...

I just had a major issue with Sprite Backup Utility. After the restore ActiveSync weirds out. It won't synchronize any of my files or data no matter how many times I disconnect, soft reset, reboot, reconnect.

I tried finally decided to remove all of the things that were supposed to be synced and put them back on, one by one... it seems to have fixed the problem.

Has anyone else run into the same problem with Sprite Backup?

How can I avoid such a hassle in the future when using Sprite?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, you will have to resync your contacts and everything else after a restore. This is a Windows CE issue, and not a Sprite issue, so says the Sprite support team on their forums. It has to do with the date/time stamps on the databases after they are restored. I know this stinks, but it's just a fact, and a limitation of CE.

I tried setting my PPC's time manually before synching after a Sprite Restore, and it still wouldn't see that I have contacts in the database, so I end up having to "replace contacts on this unit with those on my PC" option suring the first sync. I only sync my Contacts and Appointments, so I am not sure how this would relate files, notes, etc.
Best Regards,

Wooch
