Pocket Informant A+

I like Pocket Informant. I've not used AF, but Pocket Informant is highly customizable, and it is easy to get to any feature that you need. I really like the color schemes and customizable views. Throw in Pocket and Contact Breeze, and you have a truly phenomenal product!! Not taking anything away from AF, I've just never used it, and I've been very happy with PI! There is also currently a 50% discount on Pocket Informant right now. Search the forum for "Pocket Informant 50%" and you will find the thread.

Best of luck with your decision!
Best Regards,

Wooch

I also love PI. I used the trial for AF, but like(d) PI better. The best parts of PI for me are the wonderful search capability; the filtering by category, by ABC/123 priority for tasks, etc; and the ability to link say, a contact to a task. I am also a big user of hierarchical tasks.

PI also has a significantly higher sales volume, if popularity means anything to you.

Never used agenda, but have had PI for a couple of months and its been great for my admittedly simple calender needs.

I like how I can have text display in the calender for PI. Usually just
seeing the first word or two is enough to let me know what is scheduled then. I also like the controls used to create new appointments.. once you get the hang of it data entry is great. I stay in the monthly view. I dont have enough going on in my life to use any other!

The other thing I like about PI is that it uses the existing outlook databases. This makes it work seemlessly with pc outlook or any other application that uses them.

I got it during a promotion for $10, as far as I am concerned it was money well spent.

Regards,

Artuk

Well, that is not unique to PI; so does AF.

I have used both of these apps - I started using PI back in version 4.x in April-June 2003, and then had a compatibility problem with it and with the Lotus Notes replication app that I was using that did not exist with AF. I then used AF for about 14 months, upgrading several times along the way. I have just reloaded PI's trial again; this version seems to work nicely with Cadenza.

I personally like PI a little more, mostly because I find the usability and response time to be better than AF. I think that AF has some nice features as well. I like the task features and the contacts features of AF a bit more, and I think that I also like the Notes features more. However, at this pointg I am using tasks less than I once did, and the contacts db loads more slowly in AF, and I rarely use Notes myself, so that advantage does not mean much to me.

I would strongly suggest that you do a trial of both products and decide for yourself which one works best for you. Like I said, at this point I am leaning towards using PI over AF, despite the fact that I will be throwing away the cost of AF, but I am sure that there are people who will like using AF more.

I use PI along with Today Screen Apps PocketBreeze and ContactBreeze. Haven't used all the varied options.
Customer support and constant development are superior along with forumns for user dialogs.
Recommended!
Been there. Done that. Can't remember.

I think Agenda Fusion is great. This has been asked in this forum many times. So if you do a search you will find many more opinions.

I personally use PI. I love it. I'd say go with that one.

I too have tried and paid for both and prefer PI. PI seems to fit my needs better. I am a pretty heavy PIM user and like the flexiblity.

I personally use PI. It's easy to use, highly customizable, and in my opinion looks a lot better than AF. When you combine it with Pocket and Contact Breeze, you'll start to wonder how you ever did without these programs. Best of luck choosing which one suits you best.

Here's a shot of what PI looks like on mine.

Pocket Informant

Not only is the interface beautiful, and the program full of unimaginable (ok, maybe I am exagerrating just a little there, but still) depth, it is the simplist thing in the universe, plus TP or tAgenda, makes everything work great. Moreover, Webis is a superb company. I bought 5.1, and when I upgraded to 5.2 (free untill 6.X) they threw in a copy of phatnotes lite, which rules! And they gave Webis money (great program) to me for free for having recently purchased their software! PI BABY!!!
