Help W/ Pocket Informant

I just don't have time in my daily life to read the 64 page pdf file on Pocket Informant. Can anyone tell me how to write text in the month view (for each day entry). My work schedule is always changing and all I need is to be able to type in "work" or "ot" on individual days in the month view. The manual isn't very helpful with this. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I do not know how to do this - I think you would need to go to New>Appointment and amke an all day appointment for those days.

If no-one else posts a solution here, your best bet is to go and ask the question on PI's own FORUM

I don't think you can enter the text directly in the monthly view. What I would do is to use the recurrence feature. For example, I would enter the text "work" and set to occur every weekday of the month (assumed only working on weekday). Then update each day to "ot" (overtime???) as needed.

By the number of replies I've gotten it seems that this is either a boring subject OR not many people know how to do it. I know it can be done. Any advertisement for Pocket Informant shows script written on individual days in the month view but after flipping through the use manual I can't really find a description on how to do it.

All calendar entry is made on one screen (plus the link screens for icon, notes, etc.). How it is viewed (agenda, week, monthly) is based on the preferences you set on your PDA. There is no direct input on any of the view screens. Check out their web site and the forum on that site at http://www.pocketinformant.com .
