VITO ButtonMapper 3.2 for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition

Has anyone tried this on their X50v?

Thanks for any feedback.

I tried the trial and it doesn't work.

Install, open program, enable, perform the requested soft reset... That all goes OK. But after you have enabled it the neither the Buttons control panel nor the Buttons link in the Vito app do anything. You just can't open the button configuration.

I tried BIS and main memory installs.

Too bad. I am going to try BtnPlus again.

edit: BtnPlus seems to work. too bad it is a PITA to configure, it is made for Japanese devices so you have to work to figure it out. But it's free.

I had the same experience today with the latest trial of Vito ButtonMapper. I really wanted it to work but nothing I tried (main memory, resets, disabling plugins) seemed to help. The configuration screen simply won't open.

I'm going to try BtnPlus right now.

In the meantime, has anyone tried ButtonMax with their x50v?

DoubleLauncher

I couldn't get ButtonMax to work at all, even after training my buttons. I use DoubleLauncher, $10 and works great on the X50v. Even supportsd 4 functions per button.

Does DbleLauncher actually allow you to use the Wireless connections button? I know Vito does NOT...

Thanks for the heads up on BtnPlus. Works great despite being in the japanese language. Not very hard to figure out either.
