I've been using this software for some time. But not that very happy. I think it has not been optimized for tweaking softwares for real VGA mode.
I want to use the calligrapher as my default input method but it won't allow me to do so. I've softwares that tend to fill one quarter of the screen. I really don't know how to use the Tweaks2k2 to change it so that those program would be in real VGA mode. I tried to apply the VGA Brute force tweaking for these programs ... but it doesn't look like working. Also the documentation available in the web is not that straightforward for people like me who is not a programer or developer. Can anybody help? ![]()

Tweaks2k2 can't solve everything. What it does in Brute Force VGA is to turn off the double pixeling that the basic operating system does to display QVGA on a VGA screen. That turned off action means that apps that don't measure the size of the screen (they are not VGA aware) shrink to 1/4 size. Calligrapher is one of those non-VGA aware apps, so it doesn't "see" the other 3/4 of the screen.
Bottom line: Tweaks2k2 will work for VGA-aware software, but can't fix software that blindly assumes only a QVGA screen. We'll have to wait for the various applications to be updated for that full functionality.

QUOTE] Have you tried contacting Frank (the developer) at support@tweaks2k2.com with your specific software issue. He is very responsive and has frequently made changes to his software for folks when they have brought their issues to him to look at.

If you're fond of doing hard resets, then setting Calligrapher as the default SIP is a sure way to have to do one. Maybe that's why Tweaks 2k2 won't let you. If you're determined to try using Calligrapher as the default SIP, try using Pocket Tweak from http://www.tillanosoft.com
