Printing from X50 through a WiFi connection

Is there any way to print from the X50 (let say from emails on messaging) to a printer on the local network using a WiFi connection?

Gigi, sorry to repeat myself, I know this is a "no no" to post the same question twice (I have this question in another thread where I was inquiring about Oddesy).

I downloaded the HP utility. I see the network and I see the printer, however I can't get anything to print. I just get a message saying "unable to print". Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I'll let it slide...this time...

I have not used it on my X50v so I cannot give you too many details. I do know that you need to install the version for 2003SE and then without installing it, install the regular 2003 version on top of that. Have you done that?

Gigi, I did what you said. Now I'm not getting any error message! It would appear to the system that everything is printing but... nothing is printing! The network is up, printer is on and working, but nothing! I checked out the link above and it says to do exactly what you said to do.

I think I only have 3 strands of hair left in my head! Any other suggestions (before I yank the last of my hair

Hm... few more suggestions:

1. Disable firewalls (just in case).
2. Double check your printer name and location.
3. Reboot and soft reset Axim.

Also do a search for "HP mobile printing" or something similar. Many people have used this app before with success, even on the X50. Sorry I cannot think of anything else.

OMG Gigi... I (actually you) got it! I had a typo in the printer path. I had the path as \\Gateway\\HP. I had one too many "\" after the word Gateway! It is now correct at \\Gateway\HP.

Thanks a lot, everything you said was correct. I was about to give up until I got your last message!

This Axim site is so useful. Without it I wouldn't be able to do anything with my X50!
