Ssh

Does anybody have an ssh clients on their PPC?

I like putty (and if you know what ssh is and don't know putty look it UP!!!!) ... it is the greatest.

However i haven't seen a PPC version of it....too bad

if you dont' know..you dont' need it

SSH is a secure terminal emulator...for connecting to unix / linux servers and remotely doing things...i use it to administer my remote linux servers
putty is a client for SSH

vnc is graphical...x window session in unix and desktop control in windoze

ssh is text only terminal to connect to the server. However it enables you to forward graphical X packets....but only for unix servers

OMG.. PuTTY on the PPC.. how awesome!

Seems like the project is in a bit of disarray (from a quick glance at the forums), but a .53 alpha is available, and they have just gotten a sourceforge project set up

hope we see the development re-started.
