VSR utility v1.1

Quite a handy util if you ask me.

I did remap my "Home" key to reorient the display (through the buttons settings applet) but it only switches between portrait and landscape left-handed (as far as I can tell). This app may be the ticket... thanks for the info!

Works great on my x50v, 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees. Maybe you have to try to tap and hold the icon, choose "options"

I like how the icon in the system tray rotates with your screen to show your current display. (ex: if you are in right-handed landscape mode, the icon will show up right-handed landscape)

They upgraded to 2.1 which isn't free, and has a 0 day trial. Does anyone still have 1.1 they can post? I don't want to buy it and find I don't like it... TIA!

  • Added ability to change system fonts (system, menu bar, popup menu, ...)

  • Added new checkbox "Start VSR Utility tray icon after soft restart" to the options dialog.
  • Version 2.0 release
  • Enhanced rotation algorithms.
  • Added today theme colors editing.
  • Added system colors editing.
  • There are not any limits for v1.1 functionality in the commercial & trial versions.
  • Version 1.1 release.
  • Added options dialog.
  • Added shortcuts (to simply change display orientation). You can mapping display orientation on hardware buttons (via shortcuts). For example, you can select "switch screen orientation 0-90" in options dialog, and map "Quick switch display" for hardware button (in Settings->Personal->Buttons).
