ALL I want is TASKS on TODAY SCREEN!!!

I've tried many programs, such as Pocket Breeze and TasksPlus (which was amazingly horrible) to try to get my tasks displayed on the Today screen.

Why would Microsoft show you the number of active tasks but not the tasks themselves??? makes no sense at all! Gee, I have 22 tasks, I don't know what they are, or when they are due, but I know I have 22 tasks!

I'm not satisfied with them at all. They are buggy, not so snappy, don't support the dpad, and aren't pretty.

***ALL I WANT IS MY TASKS EXPANDED ON TODAY SCREEN*

Is there *ANY* way I can simply apply a tweak or a hack to view the Tasks as they are on the Today Screen?

And please don't point me to *yet another* ghetto program that adds its ugly interface and lag to my device

THANK YOU

Wow, this actually comes pretty close to what I want. The only thing missing is the ability to scroll to it using the D-Pad. It's not the prettiest thing but its functional, thanks!

Pocket informant combined with PocketBreeze can do this too and lesve the task on you today's screen as you please. You will be able to scroll withthe D pad
If you get dead silence after breaking the speed of sound, would you be in the darkness after passing the speed of light?

I've got SnapView on my Axim X30 and it works a treat. You map one of the buttons to the program and it opens automatically even if the device is switched off. I seem to remember that SBSH no longer support it as it wasn't making them money but it works a treat for me. Here's the link:

Hope this helps

Just out of curiosity what issues did you have with TaskPlus. I've been using v1.4 for a while now and I found its working pretty well.

I like TaskPlus, now that I have found the correct version. v1.39 has an issue with disappearing tasks, but I believe it's a PPC2002 vs. WM2003 matter as I found a few programs that would do the same thing. v1.4 is specifically for WM2003 and works like a champ.

I use freeware only...

I'm not a stranger to warez and I've tried all these apps to one degree or another and I've found that for the most part the freeware apps are smaller, tighter, and more efficient in doing the specific task ther are designed to

I did buy Dashboard for the coolness of skins, but I have stopped using it for a 'cleaner' and simpler interface.

I do like the looks of the Scarybear "Suite" of apps though
