Ok found one!
Freeware... http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconVa...upertino/2039/ 'Force Hi-resolution tool V1.50' You'll also want 'gsGetFile.dll' from the same page. Unzip both files to the windows directory. After a reset, the program icon will be on settings/System tab.

Ok, works as expected.
The other is slightly better in that you get an icon for the program in control panel, and the developer is still actively updating his programs. Good find though!

I just tried both apps separately (forcehires and progresoswap) with IE and see absolutely no difference. OzVGA definitely works though. Maybe these resolution switchers only work with certain applications?
