Complete Newb question - Categorized app list?

Hello, I'm sorry if this has already been answered. I looked on the site and the forums, and nothing popped out.

I was wondering, has anyone compiled a complete list of programs useful with axims? Like, a full categorized list of programs with links and descriptions?

Sorry if this has been answered, my apologies if so.

That would be very long list with many software doing the same functions. Are you looking for the best in each categories? I would suggest to look in Pocket PC Magasine were a list of 2004 software and hardware winners is available.

Yep Pocket PC Mag is awesome for thier yearly reviews of the best software.

You should also check out www.pocketpcfreeware.com for the free stuff.

Some of the members of Axim site also have thier list of favourate software in their My PDA section. Such as Frenchy above

Cheers
Adrian

There is an english version

And yes it is excellent (IMHO)... click the rating button to sort the titles by rating and you can try the best ones first.

There is this list compiled by Aximsite users.

The Official VGA Optimised Software List

Probably only relevant if you have a X50v or other VGA device. There are many other apps that work on VGA devices (with proper hack applied) but not "optimized".

thanks for all the help guys. The x50 'must have tweaks' in the x50 forum is a ton of help, as well as the pocketpcfreeware.com site.

Thanks so much!!
