Hi I'm wondering if there is a program out there that will run on a windows PC with outlook which will check for email and then either forward the message to a phone/pda or just send a notification to the handheld device.

Kinda like how a Blackberry would work.

Maybe I'm not understanding your question, but, if your using ActiveSync, doesn't it do that already?

You can setup Rules in Outlook to forward messages when they arrive, so you could have a notice send as a text message to a SMS capable cell phone if your away from the computer.

That's a great ides. I never use the rules feature of outlook that way.
