Question Decuma Alphabetic

Hi,

Has anyone successfully managed to install and use Decuma Alphabetic on their Windows Mobile 2003SE PPC?

I think this application used to be called Decuma On-Spot and is a handwriting recognition tool. I installed it on my X30 High and it worked at first, but as soon as I did a soft-reset it trashed the system. Couldn't access programs, settings etc.

I believe it is a WM2003SE issue, in that it just isn't compatible. I emailed the makers and they gave that impression. I just wondered if anyone had managed to get it working. I tried the trial for Version 3.0 (the latest version).

The makers said in their email that there is work being done on a new version but there is no release date.

Even though I only used it briefly I found it far, far better than Calligrapher, which I found to be a waste of time. Alphabetic seems to be the only handwriting software I can find which can learn how the user writes letters, rather than the user having to learn how the program expects letters to be written.

Just wondered if anyone was successfully using this under WM2003SE? Plus if anyone knows of software that works in the same way that does work with WM2003SE I'd like to hear about it.

Thanks,

Jason.
