Best Start Menu Replacement for x50v

I have finally reached the point that I am entirely annoyed with the Start Menu on my x50v. In your opinion, what replacement/enhancement do you like the best that have very low resource and processor overhead and doesn't break other things?

Lots of people are using Wisbar Advanced 2 without any problems. Also, take a look at Small Menu and Program Menu.

Uh how many wizbars are there?
there is that wizbar advanced 2 and http://www.macpel.com/html/pocket_pc.htm this one?
does the one I link to work with the x50v? I have found that I like this the most on my X5 but dont know if it works on the x50v

No, that won't work on your X50v. You need to get the one from here.

Bummer... just downloaded and installed the trial for Wisbar Advance... blew out my x50v and I lost everything. Am now in the process of rebuilding... <sigh>

Huh? What do you mean?

Did you use the link I gave you or another one? I have been using Wisbar Advance 2 on my X50v since I received it with nothing that bad happening.

I've used wisbar advance 2 as well, and no problems here. Except that bug that freezes when you run the wlan utility...

The latest version (v 2.0.1.20) has that fixed. But, if you can wait just a couple of more hours, a new version will be uploaded that fixes a few other things.

Wisbar Advanced 2 is great. I just finished completing a new TRUE-VGA skin for it, WMMCE 1.0 (Windows Mobile Media Center Edition 1.0).

Here is a screenshot. The Start menu layout/fonts/colors/background are all easily customizable - as well as anything else you see in the top or bottom bar of the today screen.

Not entirely certain what happened. I loaded it, was clicking around, and then the entire screen froze. It wouldn't respond to a soft reset (ie., nothing happened), the power button wouldn't respond... it just *totally* locked up?! I managed to hard reset it and am now rebuilding.
