Problems uninstalling Magic Button

Hi there fellow aximites

i have been happily using Transcreative Magic Button for a while, but I downloaded the beta of Wisbar Advance 2 this morning after reading about it here. Got the OSX Devotion theme for it and it is a beaut.

My problem is I then tried to remove Magic Button (which is located in /Windows directory. It tells me 'unable to remove 1 file (mbutton.exe), as may be in use or read only. Try as I might, I cannot get rid of it. I went to memory>running programs and stopped all and tried again, no good.
I tried moving it to My Documents, renaming it to .doc and deleting, same result. I have renamed and moved back. Any tips to help me along?
I DID take a back up before installing Wisbar BTW
my posts are written using voice recognition software. any typos are down to the software not me. for those interested, and there have been a fair few, it is Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 Preferred edition, and i cannot recommend it highly enough!

if you click on the home button (in the top bar) you can get to the magic buttons settings. Set it so that it doesn't restart automatically. Soft reset and then you should be able to remove it.... (well thats my idea anyway)
This week I have been mostly listening to..... Short cummings audio
