Bottom bar CPU profile changer?

With my uber battery killer x50v, I have been changing my CPU from Auto to Power Save a lot so I was wondering if there is a SIMPLE utill to add a profile chooser next to the WiFi icon or something.
I know those OC utility like HackMaster (i think) usually adds something to the start bar but that has too much to deal with and last time I used, the Ax made funny clik sounds changing speeds. So I hope for something free and simple

You may want to check out XCPUScalar, You can set CPU speed to change based upon percent of CPU load and overclock your processor if you want. I have my iPaq set to run at 200mhz from 0-25%, 300mhz from 26-30%, 400mhz from 31-55% and 472mhz from 56-100%. It also places a speed icon on the bottom bar which you can open the program with.

Okay, I was just kinda hoping to avoid those that deviate from the normal speed porfiles as well... I get tempted to see how fast my ppc will go... ^_^

You have an option to overclock, but it is only an option and you don't have to enable it.
