Wisbar and SBP pocket plus

Are Wisbar Advance 2 and SBP pocket plus compatible with each other? It seems as though some of their functions overlap. Would you recommend using them both, or just one or the other?

Thanks

I have never used Wisbar, but from what I have read you can use them together but you have to turn off some of the overlapping features. Like the X closes stuff thing. Search around I know it has been discussed. Good Luck~

I use them both, mostly for the skinning abilities of WA2. They play fine together. You do need to uncheck the box in Pocket Plus that closes apps. This should allow good function of both.

Make sure to get the lastest WA2 beta (version 2.0.1.30)
Eariler versions and especaiily the released version on the main webpage don't play so well with the Axims.
A new official release based on beta 2.0.1.30 is due any day (hour?) now.
It was supposed to be released on 06/06/05.

Yup, that's what I went through. If you use an earlier version you could have lockups. I am using .29 now and run both together just fine.

i have used spb+2 & wa2 .24 for quite awhile with no problems. in fact i even used the official non-beta version. but if you are gonna use it might as well get the latest .30beta bcos it's works great.
spb pocketplus + spb weather + spb diary = a x50v that rocks

Yep, they overlap. I use them together though. Latest beta and turning off the Close Button feature should make it work fine. I have the battery meter turned off as well. You should not have any problems if you do this.

Thanks for all the reponses. I have purchased sbp pocket plus, and am using the trial wisbar advance 2 (couldn't find the beta on their website though??). I guess I have another question now: What is the added benefit of using wisbar if you already have sbp. It seems though sbp can do almost everything wisbar can...or am I mistaken.

Also, does anyone know if and how I can put txt labels
underneath/beside my start up icons.

Thanks again.

WA2 gives you a cascading XP-style start menu, complete with cascading "My Documents" folders and the ability to skin pretty much the entire operating system.
Other than that the functions are very similar to P+.

The betas are in the WA2 support forums.
The latest is always a sticky at the top of the forum.
