Question SPB PocketPlus close Button ... ?

Hi,
I finaly managed to install PocketPlus 2.5 on Axim X50V
(I had some problem during previous installation but it turns out to be a clash with another running program ).
Any how, after hard-reseating my PPC I installed the software but now the "close" button does not work as it should.
( Just do the minimize ).
I read the FAQ at SPB site and they do admit that there is a problem with the close button. However, they claim this problem can be fixed easily by creating a shortcut under "/windows/startup" which points to the file services.exe under /windows.

http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/prod...icle41.html?en

I checked and indeed, the file exist under /windows. I created the shortcut as they suggested but nothing happened. Tried soft-reset.. nothing
Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance
Lior

Just to cover the basics......
Is the Close button option turned on?
In File Explorer, browse to \Program Files\PocketPlus\ and click PlusOptions.exe.
Make sure that the Close Button option is selected and that it's setup the way you'd like it.

Note that if you are using any other Task Manager (WisBar, MagicButton, etc.) you're going to want to leave this option turned off.

Hi,
I'm using the "Small Menu" software in addition to the PocketPlus. The 'Close' button option is selected ( that's basics )
But still nothing.
In regards to SPB answer about the "services.exe" file under windows directory and a shortcut under /windows/startup ( link above )
What do you think ?

Are you running any other programs? I'd say something else you have running (switcherbar that comes with the X50v perhaps) is conflicting. You should close it.

I have SPB PocketPlus and it works 100%. If you install it just after a hardreset does it work properly?

SmallMenu has a feature that overrides the OS and closes programs.
PocketPlus has a feature that overrides the OS and closes programs.
You should never have two programs fighting to take control of the OS.

I would uninstall one of them or turn off the "Close" function on whichever program allows it.
I know you can turn it off in PocketPlus (see my post above).
I'm not sure if you can in SmallMenu.

As far as the services.exe problem... I have no such shortcut on mine and the program works fine.
I however am not using the Close function in PocketPlus because I'm also running WisBar Advance.
