PocketPaste
Looks useful, worth exploring
http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=1017 PocketPaste is a tool which runs on the desktop and allows to copy-paste directly from the PC to the Pocket PC. It is an extremely useful tool, as it allows to send a small text, a URL or even a file very easily from your clipboard to the Pocket PC, without having to create a local file which needs to be synchronized then to transfer the information. A small icon stays in the system tray. You'll need to define first the most frequent destination directories. By default, the program comes with the root of your Pocket PC, \My Documents and \Windows\Favorites. Just some clicks and you have what you need pasted in your Pocket PC. The program options are very useful, like the possibility to give to a file a name with current date and time. You'll need the .NET Framework 1.1 installed which is easy to find in the list on Windows Update. The good news is that you have absolutely nothing to install on your Pocket PC because PocketPaste uses ActiveSync. Essential for those who want to send simple information to their Pocket PC. Ex-Psion owners are going to be delighted to be able to copy paste just like they did with PsiWin, a feature they probably missed. | |||||
