A solution to the annyoing problem of not being able to see the theme image behind all the information displayed on the today screen.

From the SnapFiles download page: "No Plugins Today is a small and simple tool, that allows you to temporarily turn off all Today Screen plug-ins."

I assigned the program to a hardware button so I can toggle the plugins off and on.

Quick review: A little buggy, but nice. Can't compalin about Freeware.

FWIW, shortly after that inital post (a year and some months ago), I stopped using the program because it kept locking up my Axim.

Is any one using it now? Are you having better luck with it than I did?

In that case, StanleyR1, I think I won't download it. A lot of apps relating to Today screen can be buggy IMH0.

 

There is another commercial ($7) product called: Today Plug-Ins Profile Switcher: SK Today Commander 1.0.23 that allows you to have several combinations of plugins, (one of them could be no plugin). I know it would be overkill for your purpose. But just in case someone needs more functionalities! :-)
