whats a program that simply closes the app when i hit the cross??

I know a few apps like battery meter thingy does this, but those apps come with a bunch of useless functions that i don't need. I'm looking for a simple app (no sugurcoating prefered) that will close an app for good when i hit the 'x', like in windows, and so i don't have to go to the switcher bar every five minutes

thx

I like Icbar, (also free).
There is a certain time and place for spontaneity.

If you really want a no-frill, smallest memory footprint, then use vbar 1.7.

thanks for the suggestions. Magic Button is great on my axim, but gets in the way of some of the phone bits on my mda (and I don't want to go to pocket plus or Wisbar Advanced at the moment)

I'll have a look ar vbar and icbar

Both of them are based on Wisbar but ICbar has had stuff added to it.. and Vbar has been cut down to the core.

Icbar looks very pretty and was the one I'd tried first. Unfortuantely it didn't like my MDA at all and made the thing freeze.

Vbar works great. Smaller footprint than magic button which means that my phone stuff is still visible

Based on my own completly unscientific usage I'd say that at the moment my favoutites are
1)vbar
2)magic button

with icbar comming in 3rd place... while it worked it was ok (so might be worth trying on the X3/30s

nice find Bright

ahhh that will be why it hated my MDA then I realy should read the instructions before i try things out but vbar seems to be doing well.

As far as Pocket Plus goes I've tried the demo and quite liked it. I've already invested in Pocket Breeze an Ilauncher though.. so just needed a nice free switcher to complete the package.

But If you're starting from a clean slate.. then Pocket Plus would be worth considering.

Nice bit of tidying GiGi (love the new AV btw)
